The Super Soapbox Challenge is more than just a day of gravity racing in Barrow’s town centre. The weekend kicks off at 5pm on Friday 28th June with a funfair in Barrow town centre until 9pm and our first launch event at the Forum Theatre when Eddie the Eagle introduces the film of his name .
At 8pm pn Friday 28th June Eddie the Eagle will be joined by a comedian and will entertain his fans at the Forum Theatre with tales from his career. The event includes pie & peas. Find out more about the two launch events here.
The Soapbox racing and town centre funfair will start from 10am on Saturday 29th June and although the racing will be completed by 5pm, the funfair will run until 9pm, giving you more time to have fun in Barrow’s town centre.
Following the closure of the funfair, Barrow has a fun packed nightlife, with a variety of bars, clubs and restaurants throughout the town centre.
